Alaska Pride Hockey Craft Night

Bring your creativity to Alaska Pride Hockey Craft Night 🏒🎨

Join us for an evening of creating, connecting, and celebrating that everyone belongs in hockey. Whether you play, cheer from the stands, or are just curious, you’re welcome here. Share ideas, conversation, and good company while you create.

What to expect

  • Bring your own project, or use our supplies to make bracelets, pins, and other Pride crafts.

  • We ask for a small donation to help cover materials.

  • Tea, sparkling water, and light snacks will be provided.

Come for the crafts, stay for the community.

Pride Skate

Join Alaska Pride Hockey Association for an evening of hockey, community, and fun! Whether you've been playing for years or are just getting connected with the local LGBTQ+ hockey community, we'd love to see you there.

September 12th Beginner-Friendly Pride Skate

Designed for our newest players, this beginner-friendly skate moves at a relaxed pace and focuses on fundamentals. We’ll cover offsides, basic positions, and finish with a friendly scrimmage. Skaters of all levels are welcome to come support and mentor our newcomers. Please bring all your own gear.

September 19th Pride Skate

This skate follows the format of our past Pride skates and is open to all skill levels. Expect a faster-paced, casual scrimmage-style game designed to be fun and welcoming. Our goal is to create a positive, inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy hockey and connect with new people.

To participate on the ice, you'll need:

  • A current USA Hockey registration number

  • Full hockey equipment (including helmet, gloves, pads, and stick)

Don't have gear or a USA Hockey number or gear? You're still encouraged to come! We'd love for you to stop by, meet the group, watch the skate, ask questions, and socialize. Whether you're interested in playing in the future or simply want to connect with the community, you're welcome here.
